     The primary goal of the Safety/Service Director is to manage the day to day operations of the city. He ensures that all laws and ordinances governing the City of Kenton are executed and enforced. The Safety/Service Director directs and supervises all city departments, enters into contracts for supplies and services, attends city council meetings and those of various committee and service organizations as necessary.  

     The Safety/Service Director's office handles organization and development, human resources and benefits administration, wage and salary administration, labor relations and negotiations, insurance management and public relations.

     The experienced administrative staff of the City of Kenton is committed to providing the best possible service to the public.
